How its done

2 Sony CD players,1 Sony Mini Disc Recorder,1 Radio Shack Mixer,1 Pioneer CD Recorder,Tdk& Sony Blank Mini Discs,Tdk Blank 80min Cds.

This is how I make CDs for the car.

Its really very easy to do. I load the two cd players with the CDs of the artist I'm going to record and cue up the tracks. Next I load a blank min disc and press record which puts the recorder into stand by mode. Next I check the recording levels of the CDs by pressing play and then adjusting them on the mixer. Now that everything is set I start the mini disc recorder and press play on cd # 1 and I'm off. this is repeated for every track that is being recorded in the mix. Also with every song that is recorded you have to press the record button on the MD recorder to add a track mark to the table of contents.

Now that part 1 is complete I check the mixes to make sure everything souns good.

Part 2 is also easy I just pop in a blank cd to the cd recorder, set the recorder to sync all and press play on the MD recorder and that's it. The MD is connected to the CD recorder by a digital optical cable, with the sync function everything is recorded onto the cd as it was recorded on the MD. Once the cd is finished all I have to do is finalize the disc.

Now I take the finished cd to the computer and turn it into the cue and bin files and release it to you.
